Selecting your grip is one of the most personal decisions you can make about your racquet. The variety of grips are endless. Every player, when given the opportunity, has distinct preferences about different grips. Grips come in a myriad of styles, colors, and materials. Each has a unique feel. Different colors of the same grip, can feel dramatically different in your hand.

Most grips are simply put on without any attention to detail. There are as many options as to how to install a grip as there are grips. The most obvious is whether the grip is installed for a right or left-handed player. Grips correctly wrapped for left-handed players, naturally feel better. Some players prefer to have the butt cap diameter enlarger. Another option would be building up the upper half of the handle for players using two-handed backhands. Some players prefer the grip to be wrapped with additional spacing between the wraps for better reference.

Regardless of what type of grip, SRS goes the extra to make sure the grip is installed as well as humanly possible. We do not simply replace the grip. We prepare the handle by removing all previous grip material and backing, then clean the handle to insure the best adhesion, then apply a Mylar backed two-sided tape to specific areas of the handle to increase adhesion, then apply the grip and lastly we “roll” the grip to ensure proper adhesion.

We have over a dozen racquets with various handle options and grips.
